We're looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Renewables business and play a key role in delivering high-profile social housing energy efficiency projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute QS who is already operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level and has experience managing their own contracts from inception through to final account. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy, can confidently manage the commercial function across multiple projects, and wants to be part of a growing business with future leadership opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing contracts from tender through to final account
- Producing CVRs, forecasts and commercial reports
- Managing variations and client valuations
- Procurement and subcontractor management
- Supporting operational teams to maximise contract performance
- Identifying and mitigating commercial risks
- Ensuring projects are delivered profitably and efficiently
- Supporting the mobilisation of new contracts
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor managing your own contracts
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong commercial knowledge across the full contract lifecycle
- Experience within Renewables, Retrofit, Decarbonisation or Energy Efficiency programmes
- Experience delivering works within the Social Housing sector
- Strong understanding of cost management, CVRs, forecasting and final accounts
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
