Are you looking to kick start your career as an Electrician? Are you based in or near Salford Manchester or Liverpool? We are looking for an Electrician apprentice to work on a 24 month fixed term basis, working 40 hours per week. The salary is based upon the National Minimum Age for apprentices.

Your Role:

  • Attend training and work toward your craft qualification
  • Trace, diagnose and rectify faults
  • Carry out routine safety checks
  • Carry out programmed maintenance and servicing
  • Repair/replace electrical fittings
  • Communicate with clients to arrange and carry out work
  • Leave homes clean and safe, collecting tenant signatures after jobs
  • Support colleagues and build relationships across the business
  • Safely operate tools, machinery, and vehicles
  • Keep accurate records of work and materials used
  • Follow safety procedures, including reporting hazards
  • Complete paperwork accurately and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Attend College as required and ensure College work is completed and submitted on time
  • Work flexibly, including out-of-hours if needed, and follow all health and safety guidelines

What We Need from You:

  • Have a genuine interest in working in Electrical
  • 16-18-year-old Level 4 in English & Maths (C Grade or above or functional skills level 2) essential
  • 19+ Level 4 in English & Maths (C Grade or above or functional skills level 2) essential
  • Have a positive approach to completing relevant courses and qualifications
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules
  • Excellent customer service skills and punctuality
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational and planning skills
