Your Role as our Business Support Administrator

Working as part of our Business Support team, you will be the face of our organisation and the first point of contact for everyone who visits our office. As our Front of House Receptionist, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming, professional and positive first impression for clients, customers, contractors and colleagues, while also providing administrative support across our operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, contractors and colleagues
  • Managing reception duties and creating a welcoming, professional environment
  • Signing visitors in and out and monitoring site access procedures
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Creating ID badges for new starters
  • Producing and issuing tenant fobs for residential properties
  • Managing shared inboxes and responding to enquiries promptly
  • Maintaining spreadsheets and updating internal systems
  • Raising new job events and processing updates on existing works
  • Closing emergency call-out jobs and managing no-access appointments
  • Providing general administrative support to operational teams
  • Offering refreshments to visitors and ensuring a positive customer experience

This role is fully office-based and operates on an alternating shift pattern of: 7:30am - 4:00pm, 8:00am - 4:30pm.

  • Previous administration experience or a willingness to learn
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A friendly, approachable and professional manner
  • Confidence working in a front-of-house reception environment
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Competent IT skills, including using emails, spreadsheets and internal systems
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy office
