Are you looking to kick start your career as a Gas Engineer? Are you based in or near the Salford or Liverpool area? We are looking for a Gas Engineer Apprentice to work on a 24 month fixed term basis, working 40 hours per week.

Your Role:
- Attend training and work toward your craft qualification
- Trace, diagnose and rectify faults
- Carry out routine safety checks
- Carry out programmed maintenance and servicing
- Repair/replace electrical fittings
- Communicate with clients to arrange and carry out work
- Leave homes clean and safe, collecting tenant signatures after jobs
- Support colleagues and build relationships across the business
- Safely operate tools, machinery, and vehicles
- Keep accurate records of work and materials used
- Follow safety procedures, including reporting hazards
- Complete paperwork accurately and ensure customer satisfaction
- Attend College as required and ensure College work is completed and submitted on time
- Work flexibly, including out-of-hours if needed, and follow all health and safety guidelines
What We Need from You:
- Have a genuine interest in working in Gas
- 16-18-year-old Level 4 in English & Maths (C Grade or above or functional skills level 2) essential
- 19+ Level 4 in English & Maths (C Grade or above or functional skills level 2) essential
- Have a positive approach to completing relevant courses and qualifications
- Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules
- Excellent customer service skills and punctuality
- Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational and planning skills
