Are you looking to kick start your career as a Plumber? Are you based in or near the Wirral? We are looking for a Plumber apprentice to work on a 24 month fixed term basis, working 40 hours per week. The salary is based upon the National Minimum Age for apprentices.

Your Role:

  • Attend training and work toward your craft qualification, which will include:
  • Repair / replace external cold water gutter and drainage systems
  • Install, repair and replace hot and cold water supplies, including baths, sinks, showers, and toilets including waste systems
  • Excavate ground to repair external cold water supplies and drainage systems and clear blocked drains and toilets
  • Trace, diagnose, identify and rectify faults on hot and cold water systems
  • Repair/ replace kitchen units and sink units
  • Carry out programmes maintenance and servicing in domestic properties including safety routine checks
  • Communicate with clients to arrange and carry out work
  • Leave homes clean and safe, collecting tenant signatures after jobs
  • Support colleagues and build relationships across the business
  • Safely operate tools, machinery, and vehicles
  • Keep accurate records of work and materials used
  • Follow safety procedures, including reporting hazards
  • Complete paperwork accurately and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work flexibly, including out-of-hours if needed, and follow all health and safety guidelines

What We Need from You:

  • Have a genuine interest in working in Plumbing
  • 16-18 years old: Level 4 in English & Maths (C Grade or above or functional skills level 2)
  • 19+: Level 2 in English & Maths (C Grade or above or functional skills level 2)
  • Have a positive approach to completing relevant courses and qualifications
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules
  • Excellent customer service skills and punctuality
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational and planning skills
