WPS is looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Customer Service Assistant / Receptionist to join our team at our Drummond Street office. As the first point of contact for customers, contractors and colleagues, you will play a key role in delivering a professional and efficient front‑of‑house service, while also supporting our Customer Service team with administrative duties and coordination of repairs and queries. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing a welcoming and professional reception service
  • Handle customer queries and repair requests, ensuring they are managed promptly and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records on internal systems (including defect/repair platforms)
  • Coordinate appointments, inspections and schedules with operatives and subcontractors
  • Manage customer communications, keeping all parties updated and expectations clear
  • Support the Customer Service Manager with administrative tasks and reporting
  • Prepare and send customer documentation following completion of works
  • Monitor and follow up on repairs to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist with compiling reports and identifying trends to improve service delivery

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service, receptionist or administrative role
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work on your own initiative
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • A calm and professional approach, even in busy or challenging situations

  • Experience scheduling appointments or coordinating teams
  • Knowledge of repairs/maintenance or construction environments
