Job Description
Are you a skilled Builder based in Greater Manchester, with fantastic joinery skills and experience carrying out high quality remedial works to a wide range of social housing properties?

Your Role:
- Boxing in of pipework
- Joinery including shelving to cupboards, skirting boards, refitting wall units
- Patch plastering
- Brickwork
- Laying concrete slabs/ trenches for condensation/ soakaway
- Fitting electric fire suites
- Joinery work, custom build cupboards to go around boilers
- Install soakaway, lift flags and install or cut concrete and finish to a high standard
- Box in pipework with pendoc
- Box in under and above boiler with pendoc
- Patch up or brick up old flue/ pipe holes
- General building works
- General roof works, replace broken tiles (rare)
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and safety
- Report works using your PDA
- Report accidents, near-miss events, and potential hazards
- Handle any additional maintenance tasks within your remit
- Be flexible in working with a wide range of customers, adapting to their needs and schedules
What We Need from You.
- Recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in building or other building trade’s.
- Must be competent in all aspects of the building discipline
- A full UK driving license
- Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules
- Excellent customer service skills with experience working with the public
- A solid understanding of gas legislation and regulations
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices and working to best standards
- Ability to manage your time and workload independently
