Your Role as a Multi Skilled Tiler (Disrepair)

Working within our Disrepair Team, you'll be responsible for completing a wide range of tiling, reinstatement and remedial works following disrepair claims, damp and mould treatment programmes, water ingress repairs and property refurbishments

Carrying out wall and floor tiling works within occupied domestic properties

Completing reinstatement works following damp, mould, leaks and water damage

Diagnosing and resolving tiling defects, damage and failures

Undertaking patch repairs and full replacement tiling works

Preparing surfaces, tanking, screeding and carrying out all associated finishing works

Completing remedial works in kitchens, bathrooms and communal areas

Working alongside multi-trade operatives to deliver end-to-end disrepair projects

Ensuring all properties are left clean, safe and ready for occupation

Accurately recording work completed using PDA systems

Following all Health & Safety, Equality and Customer Service standards

Reporting accidents, hazards and near misses promptly

Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with residents throughout the repair process

What We're Looking For

Essential

NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Wall & Floor Tiling (or recognised apprenticeship)

Full UK Driving Licence (with no more than 7 points)

Strong experience in all aspects of wall and floor tiling

Experience carrying out repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works within occupied properties

Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Experience working within social housing, maintenance or disrepair environments

Understanding of quality standards required for disrepair reinstatement works

Desirable

CSCS Card

Asbestos Awareness Certification

Experience working on damp and mould remediation projects

Experience within social housing disrepair programmes

Own trade tools
