Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Joiner with a background in disrepair, property maintenance, or social housing repairs?
Liberty Property Services. We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused tradesperson to join our growing Disrepair Team, carrying out a wide range of repairs and reinstatement works within occupied homes. This is a rewarding role where you'll make a real difference to residents by restoring homes to a safe, compliant, and high-quality standard
Working across a variety of domestic properties, you'll be responsible for completing repairs resulting from disrepair claims, water ingress, damp and mould remediation works, and general property reinstatement projects. You'll be trusted to identify solutions, deliver excellent workmanship, and provide outstanding customer service throughout every job
What You'll Be Doing
- As part of our Disrepair Team, you'll carry out a variety of repair and remedial works including:
- Joinery and carpentry repairs
- Reinstatement works following damp, mould and water damage
- Kitchen repairs and replacements
- Flooring, ceilings and partition wall repairs
- Doors, frames, skirting boards and ironmongery replacements
- Roofing, fascia, soffit and external timber repairs
- Window and fencing repairs
- Minor plumbing, patch plastering, tiling and decorating works
- Diagnosing repair requirements and planning works effectively
- Ordering materials and managing jobs through to completion
- Supporting apprentices and maintaining high standards of health and safety
- Delivering exceptional customer service in occupied homes throughout the duration of repair works
What We're Looking For
A recognised trade qualification in Joinery, Plumbing, Plastering or a related building trade
A completed apprenticeship within a construction trade
Previous experience working as a Multi Skilled Operative
Strong joinery and carpentry skills
Experience carrying out repairs and reinstatement works in occupied properties
The ability to undertake work outside of their core trade, including basic plumbing, plastering and tiling
A valid CSCS card
Full UK Driving Licence
Excellent customer service and communication skills
The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
Desirable
- Experience within social housing maintenance
- Experience delivering disrepair works
- Knowledge of damp and mould remediation
- Responsive maintenance and planned repairs experience
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements within domestic properties
