We’re looking for a VP, Product and Solutions – 12 month FTC (Mat Leave) join us in London
As Vice President of Product & Solutions, you will play a key role in shaping the trajectory of Liberty Blume’s product and solutions portfolio to maximise customer value and accelerate business growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will oversee the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, while fostering cross-functional collaboration and innovation. It is your mandate to ensure the delivery of top-tier, market-leading solutions that not only align with customer needs but also act as catalysts for overall business growth. Working closely with operational and technology teams, you will ensure offerings align with market needs, customer expectations, and Liberty Blume’s strategic objectives.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for optimizing the product portfolio, leveraging technology to enhance the customer experience, and ensuring that Liberty Blume is well-positioned to meet and exceed its financial and operational objectives.
Beyond your instrumental role in product development, you will stand as a vital member of the senior leadership team. In this capacity, you will actively contribute to setting the broader direction and strategy for Liberty Blume, further solidifying your impact on the organization’s future.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product and solutions strategy aligned with Liberty Blume’s ambition and growth objectives.
- Set and communicate the product vision and rationale, strategy, pricing and roadmap to internal stakeholders (all levels) and external partners.
- Define and communicate the product roadmap, considering market trends, competition, and customer feedback.
- Drive portfolio optimization to help drive growth and alignment with customer needs and market opportunities.
- Serve as a key point of engagement and escalation with product stakeholders across Liberty Blume, LG and our customers to demonstrate the value being delivered and manage expectations
- Establish and nurture a product community to develop talent, promote best practices, and foster collaboration across Liberty Blume.
Customer-Centric Innovation
- Cultivate a culture of innovation by encouraging bold solutions and exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance product capabilities.
- Monitor industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitor activity, integrating insights into the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with customer support, sales, and marketing teams to gather actionable customer insights and improve future product releases.
- Continuously enhance the customer experience through initiatives such as the NPS programme and improved feedback loops, integrating actionable insights into the product development lifecycle.
Product Excellence
- Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and concept development to launch and ongoing enhancements, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Technology, Sales, Strategy, Marketing, and our customers to ensure our products align with the Liberty Blume vision and address customer and market requirements.
- Streamline the product portfolio across business units to improve efficiency, reduce complexity, and address evolving customer needs.
- Develop and manage the product budget efficiently, allocating resources to initiatives with maximum strategic impact, and establish KPIs to track product success.
- Partner with business development and marketing teams to create impactful go-to-market strategies, including product launches, pricing, and messaging.
Experience
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Relevant years of experience in product management, product marketing or business development roles
- Demonstrate success in developing and launching successful products
- Proven skills in strategic planning, product and global market development, market research and marketing communications.
- Go-to-market experience in a scale-up / new technology introduction context is preferred.
- Be able to demonstrate experience in gathering and transforming customer needs into an actionable product vision and requirements definition.
- Possess strong technical and business fundamentals with a passion for solving problems with disruptive new technologies.
- Ability to think critically and act strategically, drive business growth by identifying opportunities, key decision makers, priorities, and synergies.
- Established experience of working in a complex corporate environment
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with a wide stakeholder group
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company and handle a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a diverse array of contacts.
