Overview
Our 12-month industrial placement offers hands-on experience within core emerging technology areas, with a focus on Technology and Cybersecurity. You’ll gain experience, receive expert support from colleagues, and have opportunities to use your own initiative to solve problems and drive projects forward. You’ll network with senior leaders across the business and gain insight into what Liberty Global has to offer for your career in emerging technology.
What To Expect
Your first weeks will involve with a range of experts providing insight into the Tech and Cybersecurity function of the business, and assessing and developing your functional technology skills. We’ll provide the tools needed to make the placement year a success, and by the end you’ll have gained confidence, skills and knowledge to finish your final year at university effectively.
What We Look For
We’re looking for motivated, hard-working students who are eager to explore opportunities. Applications from degree backgrounds in Cybersecurity, Data Science, Technology & Engineering are preferable; however, proven experience with data analytics, coding, or technology development will be considered. We’re seeking applicants with a growth mindset and genuine interest in working in the emerging technology space.

To be eligible for our placement programme you need to be doing a placement year as part of your Undergraduate degree. In addition, you should take your placement in your second year starting in summer 2025 and graduate in summer 2027.
