Senior Manager, Central Finance in St Albans

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities may vary based on the team you land in. Typically though, at Senior Manager level, you will be responsible for:

• Financial planning: you will own and develop Group financial planning processes, seeking out opportunities for simplification.
• Automation: you will seek out and drive ways of working efficiencies, including driving automation initiatives.
• Analysis & performance monitoring: you will support the production of financial analysis and make recommendations through business modelling.
• Business partnering: you will present complex financials in an engaging way. You will business partner Opco and Central department leads, supporting teams in realizing financial objectives and optimizing capital allocation.
• Team management: you will manage, develop and coach a lean team.

We tend to look for people with:

• Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• A strong background across one of, or a combination of: Banking, Consulting, Fintech, Tech and/or other adjacent industries.
• Good generalist experience across core finance activities such as: business partnering, capital allocation (FP&A) etc. with a track record of managing financial budgets, actuals, business cases, modelling and project coordination.
• Experience in an International or Pan-European environment.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight delivery targets.
