We’re looking for a People Services Operations Manager to join us in Bradford.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven People Services Operations Manager to manage operations in People Services and deliver successfully against customer expectation, KPIs / SLAs and other appropriate deliverables in line with our People Services Strategy. You will be responsible for the key elements of operational management, continuous improvement and customer service.

The role covers various teams within our wider People Services operation, serving multiple clients across several geographies, and is also a key member of the People Services Senior Leadership Team (SLT) where your operational knowledge should be supplemented by your strategic, business development, technological, people and market knowledge.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead People Services HR operations to meet and exceed customer KPIs and SLAs
  • Provide leadership to operations team leaders and team members
  • Teach and coach key skills and behaviours to direct reports an the broader operational team
  • Set strategic direction for operations in line with broader People Services strategy, including clear operational goals and initiatives
  • Delivering improvements in accuracy, timeliness and productivity in a continuous and sustainable manner
  • Use data to analyse trends and potential knowledge gaps
  • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs, using data to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance the employee experience.
  • Act as a key point of contact for escalations and complex HR operational issues.
  • Support HR transformation initiatives, including system implementations, process automation, and service optimisation.
  • Operating as a member of the SLT and contributing strategically to the wider goals of People Services in that capacity, leaning on wider industry knowledge and a broad outsourcing and shared services skill base

We tend to look for people with:

Essential

  • Proven experience in HR operations or shared services leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of operations management
  • Excllent continuous improvement skills and behaviours , preferably based on the Lean methodology, with experience of utilising clear and wide ranging measurements, visual displays, error proofing, root cause analysis etc.
  • Experience of teaching and coaching continuous improvement skills and behaviours
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a shared services or outsourcing environment
  • Led operational teams to consistently meet SLA\’s using key metrics to make informed decsions, improve processes and present clear actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional written English skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional, and grammatically accurate documentation, policies, and communications for a diverse, global audience
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
