What the job involves
As the Manager, Commercial Finance, you will play a key role in driving the commercial finance agenda for Liberty Global’s Corporate entity. As a pivotal role in the Commercial Finance team, you will support corporate functional leaders across the business to pursue cost-efficiency opportunities and explore potential avenues for commercializing services provided to operating companies, as well as growth and services businesses.
In addition to leading corporate budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting, this role carries responsibility for the implementation, governance, and in-life management of Master Service Agreements (MSAs) with operating companies. You will ensure MSAs are structured effectively, financially disciplined, and aligned with business objectives, while overseeing performance, compliance, and value delivery across contractual relationships.
This position requires a results-driven individual who can drive commercial initiatives, manage complex service agreements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and financial discipline across the organization.
Lead the corporate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting cycles for your areas, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely delivery of results. Partner with senior stakeholders as a strategic advisor, converting financial data into actionable insights that shape decision-making and drive accountability. Challenge business leaders to uncover cost efficiencies and unlock new commercial opportunities, balancing financial discipline with growth ambitions.
Design and embed KPI frameworks to measure functional effectiveness, profitability, and cost efficiency, with a clear link to value creation. Conduct in-depth financial analyses—including variance, trend, and sensitivity analyses—to anticipate risks and optimize business outcomes. Oversee special projects and strategic initiatives, providing commercial and financial leadership to guide investment choices and capital deployment. Uphold corporate governance standards and frameworks across all financial and contractual processes.
Continuously enhance planning, reporting, and forecasting processes, leveraging technology, automation, and AI to improve speed, accuracy, and impact. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, challenging existing processes and identifying new ways to create efficiencies and deliver insights.
Master Service Agreement (MSA) Management:
Support the implementation, governance, and in-life management of Liberty Global Corporate MSAs, ensuring alignment with business strategy, contractual compliance, and value delivery. Negotiate, structure, and maintain standardized pricing models for MSAs by function, driving efficiency, transparency, and fair allocation of costs and revenues. Develop and deliver performance dashboards for key MSAs to support customer service reviews and track service delivery against agreed SLAs. Act as a facilitator between contractual parties where required, resolving issues and ensuring strong stakeholder engagement. Continuously refine MSA processes to maximize efficiency, profitability, and long-term value for the business.
