We’re looking for a Solutions Architect to join our team in Leeds or Bradford. This hybrid role offers flexibility, with two days in the office and three days working remotely. Liberty Blume is looking for a skilled and driven Solutions Consultant to collaborate closely with our Account Executives and help accelerate revenue growth. In this role, you’ll serve as the leading technical expert and product advocate throughout the sales cycle. Your goal will be to achieve the “technical win” by uncovering a prospect’s complex business needs and designing a tailored solution that clearly demonstrates the value of our platform. This position is perfect for a strategic, tech‑savvy problem solver who thrives on understanding challenges, crafting solutions, and communicating sophisticated concepts in a clear and compelling way to a wide range of audiences.

What will you be doing?

  • Work side‑by‑side with Account Executives as the technical lead on all opportunities, contributing to and executing a well‑defined sales strategy.
  • Conduct in‑depth discovery sessions to understand a prospect’s business goals, technical environment, and operational pain points.
  • Develop solution architectures using Blume’s platforms, ensuring seamless alignment with each prospect’s needs and existing technology landscape.
  • Create and present customised product demonstrations that clearly connect platform capabilities to the prospect’s priorities and measurable business value.
  • Own the execution of Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and pilot projects - defining success criteria, guiding stakeholders, and ensuring a successful technical evaluation.
  • Serve as the trusted technical expert throughout the sales cycle, confidently responding to security questions, detailed technical inquiries, and competitive comparisons.
  • Produce high‑quality contributions to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires, ensuring responses are accurate, compelling, and aligned with customer needs.
  • Provide clear, thorough solution documentation to implementation and customer success teams to support a seamless transition once deals close.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by sharing insights, feedback, and market trends with Product and Engineering teams to help shape future enhancements.

Essential

  • Experience in a customer‑facing technical role (Pre‑Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Account Management, or Professional Services), ideally within B2B SaaS or complex software environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure useful), API integrations, data workflows, analytics, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
  • Ability to quickly learn and master new technologies and platforms.
  • Confident in delivering engaging presentations and demos to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear business language for senior stakeholders while engaging deeply with technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and solution‑focused approach to problem‑solving.
  • Good understanding of the sales process and motivated to support revenue growth.
  • Skilled at linking technical features to tangible business outcomes (cost savings, efficiency, risk reduction, growth).
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams including Sales, Product, Marketing, and Engineering.

Desirable

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Experience with Python or JavaScript.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., cloud, security, architecture).
  • Hands‑on experience with GCP or major enterprise platforms such as Oracle, Workday, or SAP.

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive salary + Bonus.
  • 25 days annual leave with the option to purchase 5 more.
  • Access to wellbeing and mental health benefits such as the Calm app, personal medical, critical illness cover and dental insurance, plus many more.
  • Matched pension contribution up to 10%.
  • Access to our car benefit scheme.
  • Access to our online learning platform to continue to develop and grow your career with us.
  • The chance to join an innovative, fast-paced and passionate team.
