Full Stack Engineer

b Overview /b p As a Full Stack Engineer, you design, build, and evolve AI-first telecom platforms serving millions of Liberty Global customers. You work with the platform team to translate architectural direction into production-ready software, emphasizing scalability, security, and reliability. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to raise engineering standards and deliver end-to-end platform capabilities. This role offers impact by shaping scalable systems and integrating AI/ML capabilities within a telecom context. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Design and own critical platform components within the reference architecture /li li Evaluate technical solutions balancing performance, security and maintainability /li li Lead architecture reviews and design sessions for key features /li li Define integration patterns and data flows across services /li li Write production-quality full-stack code (backend, APIs, frontend, IaC) /li li Deliver end-to-end features from design to deployment /li li Contribute to production readiness with documentation, runbooks, monitoring /li li Maintain and improve platform components addressing technical debt and performance /li li Champion engineering best practices across code quality, testing, CI/CD, security, observability /li li Collaborate with build partners, reviewing their designs and code to the same standard /li li Share knowledge across the organization via docs, pairing, and talks /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Hands-on full-stack engineering experience in enterprise environments /li li Proficiency across backend (Python, Java or equivalent), frontend, APIs, databases and infrastructure as code /li li Deep understanding of distributed systems design for scalable and resilient services /li li Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) /li li Ability to translate architectural requirements into actionable engineering plans /li li Strong code and architecture review experience with constructive feedback /li li Experience in fast-paced delivery with clear prioritisation /li li Experience collaborating with or reviewing output from SI/vendor build partners /li /ul ul li Collaboration across engineering, product, and partners /li li Clear and constructive communication of technical decisions /li li Pragmatism and delivery mindset with sound trade-off reasoning /li li Python or Java backend /li li Frontend frameworks and APIs /li li Databases and infrastructure as code /li /ul
