We’re looking for a n Executive Assistant to the CFO to join us in London.
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and strategic support to the CFO, enabling them to operate effectively and focus on business-critical priorities. Acting as a trusted partner, the EA manages complex scheduling, communication, and information flow, ensuring the CFO is fully prepared for decision-making and stakeholder engagement. The role safeguards confidentiality, builds strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders, and anticipates needs to proactively remove obstacles. By combining organizational excellence with discretion and business acumen, the EA plays a critical role in enhancing the efficiency, impact, and effectiveness of the CFO’s office.
What will you be doing?
- Provide seamless diary, inbox, and travel management for executive, anticipating needs and proactively resolving conflicts.
- Act as gatekeeper and first point of contact, managing internal and external communications with discretion and professionalism.
- Prepare briefing documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence to support decision-making.
- Organise and coordinate board meetings, leadership offsites, and key company events, ensuring follow-up actions are tracked and delivered.
- Manage confidential information with absolute integrity.
- Build strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders, representing the executive office with credibility.
- Anticipate issues before they arise and take ownership of solving them.
- Support on special projects, often with little notice, requiring agility and resilience.
We tend to look for people with:
- Significant experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant at C-suite or senior leadership level in a fast-paced, high-growth, or complex organisation
- Mastery of complex diary/calendar management across multiple time zones
- Skilled in managing high-volume emails, correspondence, and prioritization
- Strong travel management expertise , including itineraries, visas, and last-minute changes
- Proven ability to prepare, format, and proofread presentations, reports, and board materials
- Solid understanding of financial terminology, reports, and business performance metrics (to handle CFO-related documentation confidently)
- Ability to process and maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive financial and corporate information
- Comfortable supporting CFO in interactions with investors, board members, auditors, and senior stakeholders
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Skilled at managing internal and external stakeholder relationships with professionalism and tact
- Highly organized, able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure
- Proactive in anticipating needs and solving problems before they escalat
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential projects and follow through with execution
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
- Strong digital literacy, able to quickly adapt to new collaboration tools
- Discreet, trustworthy, and operates with absolute integrity
