Job Overview

Director, Distribution and Funder Engagement – Speciality Finance – Liberty Blume in London, United Kingdom (Kings Cross). Liberty Blume Speciality Finance offers a varied product range, including Supply Chain Finance, Securitisation, inventory finance, portfolio receivables financing, prepayment / trade advance, leasing, asset as a service, and more. LBSF targets sub‑investment grade rated companies, though solutions also apply to investment grade organisations, primarily in telecoms but expanding to adjacent industries. In order to drive business growth, LBSF seeks an individual with proven capabilities and pre‑existing relationships to source and identify appropriate funders and partners for the transactions it envisages, and drive onboarding of such partners into specific transactions and wider relationships.

Responsibilities

• Source, identify, and onboard appropriate funders and partners for transactions and maintain wider relationships.
• Originate discussions and develop partnerships by contacting relevant industry players from personal network, known funders, and reverse inquiries.
• Act as key point of contact for these organisations, representing LBSF and driving the growth agenda.
• Provide meaningful insight into funding opportunities and advise the team on risk‑return profiles of various investors.
• Pitch opportunities to funders in partnership with origination and product colleagues and navigate specific requirements to shape deals.
• Identify new funders for existing third‑party transactions to enable growth on favourable terms.
• Provide market intelligence on working‑capital financing players, new entrants, and structural changes affecting availability of client portfolios.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Structured Finance, Corporate Finance or Transactional Banking.
• Relevant experience in working‑capital financing distribution.
• Existing relationships with a wide array of funders, including non‑bank investors.
• Knowledge of working‑capital market intelligence.
• Prior experience in the structured finance arena is a plus.

Skills & Abilities

• Experience communicating with potential funders and partners (internal and external).
• Ability to evaluate funder needs and source relevant opportunities.
• Facilitate introductions and oversee discussions from initial meetings to the sales process and deal closure.
