Job Description:
As the VP, Tax, Liberty Growth and Services, you will lead a team advising senior management on the central Bermuda, UK, Liberty Growth & Services tax position of the LG group and Transfer Pricing related items. This involves multiple aspects of the business, related M&A, and/or Corporate Development projects.
What will you be doing?
- Managing LG Ltd’s consolidated Bermuda, UK tax, and Pillar 2 positions (including CFC position, UK International Movement of Capital rules, and global Pillar 2 impact).
- Developing, evaluating, and implementing tax planning strategies across jurisdictions to maximize after-tax profit and cash flow.
- Executing tax projects to meet tax objectives effectively and efficiently.
- Identifying risks and exposures to LG’s worldwide tax position, including Pillar 2.
- Ensuring robust processes & controls around tax compliance, reviewing & signing off on tax provisions and returns.
- Updating & signing off on LG Long Range Plan tax modules.
- Developing and implementing Transfer Pricing strategies.
- Supporting and maintaining relationships with tax authorities.
- Fostering a collaborative team environment and supporting team engagement.
- Managing and developing the team’s knowledge of tax technical developments.
- Sharing institutional knowledge and insights.
- Managing external tax fees.
- Growing & maintaining MSA Revenue.
