We’re looking for a Manager, Commercial Activation to join us in London, UK or Schiphol, Rijk. This role supports the Commercial Activation team by helping deliver actionable insights, facilitating best practice sharing across the group and assisting in managing the activation of commercial projects for our core FMC champions. Working under the guidance of the VP Commercial Activation, you’ll play a key role in shaping selected commercial strategies (branding, CVP, go-to-market, sales channels, etc.) and supporting initiatives aimed at improving customer loyalty, increasing net adds, and boosting ARPU per customer. You'll also contribute to the operational side of strategic programs like digital transformation or post-merger activities and ensure best practice learning is shared and implemented across the group.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Produce robust quantitative analyses to drive commercial insights and recommendations.
- Manage the development of selected commercial strategies around product, service or experience: designing the proposition blueprint, delivering the business case and the go-to-market strategy.
- Identify and prioritise transferable best practice and implement structured knowledge sharing to leverage the benefits for all OpCo’s.
- Support the implementation of such programs around the group / all OpCo’s, aimed at achieving measurable improvements in customer loyalty / rNPS, Net Adds and/or ARPU per customer.
- Collaborate with the VP Commercial Activation to support the SVP and MD of C&O in operating and budget reviews for core businesses and portfolio companies; providing non-recurring analytical and performance insights and ensuring follow-through on commercial and operational questions, issues and opportunities.
- Contribute to the commercial & operations input to operating and strategic meetings where applicable and required (e.g. ELT, CEO Council, IC) to support SVP and MD C&O.
- Support the alignment and co-ordination across departments, actively ensuring Director level engagement across LG and the OpCos (finance, technology, strategy, legal and the people team) to achieve shared business objectives in the commercial/operations domain.
- Stay informed about commercial, operational and technological trends and innovations relevant to the industry.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on accurate data interpretation.
- Strong commercial acumen, the ability to judge the likely implications or considerations of different commercial strategies.
- Confident and credible presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate insights and justified recommendations to a range of senior stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with remote teams across the group.
- Experience working in a matrixed, international organization is a plus.
- A collaborative, hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Relevant years’ experience in commercial operations, strategy, or related roles.
- Exposure to strategic thinking, transformation initiatives or commercial management projects in dynamic environments.
- Familiarity with the telecom, media, or related industries is beneficial.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics or alike.
