Are you looking to kick start your career as a Joiner? Are you based in or near Salford? We are looking for a Joinery apprentice to work on a 24 month fixed term basis, working 40 hours per week. The salary is based upon the National Minimum Age for apprentices.

Your Role:
- Attend training and work toward your craft qualification, which will include:
- Repair/ renew ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, partition walls, T&G
- Repair/ renew doors and door casing, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards and ducting panelling
- Repair/ renew kitchen units, work tops and decorative finishes
- Repair/ replace ironmongery to doors and windows
- Deglaze/ Reglaze timber fencing and gates
- Communicate with clients to arrange and carry out work
- Leave homes clean and safe, collecting tenant signatures after jobs
- Support colleagues and build relationships across the business
- Safely operate tools, machinery, and vehicles
- Keep accurate records of work and materials used
- Follow safety procedures, including reporting hazards
- Complete paperwork accurately and ensure customer satisfaction
- Work flexibly, including out-of-hours if needed, and follow all health and safety guidelines
What We Need from You:
- Have a genuine interest in working in Joinery
- 16-18-year-old Level 4 in English & Maths (C Grade or above or functional skills level 2)
- 19+ Level 2 in English & Maths (C Grade or above or functional skills level 2)
- Have a positive approach to completing relevant courses and qualifications
- Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules
- Excellent customer service skills and punctuality
- Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational and planning skills
