How to prepare for a job interview at Liberty Gas Group
✨Know Your Trade Inside Out
Make sure you brush up on all aspects of plumbing and joinery before the interview. Be ready to discuss your experience with first and second fix plumbing, as well as any specific projects you've worked on that showcase your skills.
✨Showcase Your Problem-Solving Skills
Employers love candidates who can think on their feet. Prepare examples of challenges you've faced in previous roles and how you resolved them, especially in a social housing environment. This will demonstrate your ability to adapt and find solutions.
✨Highlight Your Qualifications
Since a recognised apprenticeship and NVQ qualifications are essential, make sure to mention these early in the conversation. Bring copies of your certificates if possible, as this shows you're organised and serious about your credentials.
✨Ask Insightful Questions
Prepare a few thoughtful questions about the role and the company culture. This not only shows your interest but also helps you gauge if the company is the right fit for you. For example, ask about ongoing training opportunities or how they support work-life balance.
