Responsibilities
- Carry out a full range of wall and floor tiling works across domestic properties.
- Diagnose, repair and resolve tiling issues, including small patch repairs.
- Identify defects and complete remedial work to a high standard.
- Prepare surfaces before tiling and complete all finishing works after installation.
- Undertake external tiling, floor screeding, and tile fixing where required.
- Complete routine maintenance and refurbishment tiling tasks.
- Accurately record and update work using a PDA system.
- Follow all Health & Safety, Equality, and Customer Service standards.
- Report accidents, near misses, and potential hazards promptly.
- Deliver excellent customer service, adapting to different customer needs and schedules.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Wall & Floor Tiling (or equivalent apprenticeship).
- Full UK driving licence (with no more than 7 points).
- Strong experience in all aspects of wall and floor tiling.
- Proven background in maintenance and repair work within domestic properties (including high‑rise environments).
- Ability to work in confined spaces and varied site conditions.
- CSCS card, asbestos awareness, and own tools (desirable).
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
