Responsibilities

  • Carry out a full range of wall and floor tiling works across domestic properties.
  • Diagnose, repair and resolve tiling issues, including small patch repairs.
  • Identify defects and complete remedial work to a high standard.
  • Prepare surfaces before tiling and complete all finishing works after installation.
  • Undertake external tiling, floor screeding, and tile fixing where required.
  • Complete routine maintenance and refurbishment tiling tasks.
  • Accurately record and update work using a PDA system.
  • Follow all Health & Safety, Equality, and Customer Service standards.
  • Report accidents, near misses, and potential hazards promptly.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, adapting to different customer needs and schedules.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Wall & Floor Tiling (or equivalent apprenticeship).
  • Full UK driving licence (with no more than 7 points).
  • Strong experience in all aspects of wall and floor tiling.
  • Proven background in maintenance and repair work within domestic properties (including high‑rise environments).
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and varied site conditions.
  • CSCS card, asbestos awareness, and own tools (desirable).
  • Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
