We're looking for an experienced Floor Layer to join our Responsive Repairs team, carrying out high-quality flooring installations and repairs across domestic and commercial properties. You'll work with a variety of materials including vinyl, carpet, Polysafe, linoleum, rubber flooring and timber-based products, delivering excellent workmanship and customer service every day.
What you'll be doing:
- Installing, renewing and repairing wet room floors
- Install and repair a wide range of flooring materials, including vinyl, carpet, tiles and timber
- Prepare subfloors and surfaces to ensure high-quality finishes
- Carry out fitting, finishing and refurbishment works in domestic properties
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Plan jobs effectively and manage materials and equipment
- Work safely and collaboratively to achieve quality and performance standards
What we're looking for:
- NVQ Level 2/3 (or recognised apprenticeship) in Floor laying
- Experience across all aspects of floor laying and flooring repairs
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
