Are you an experienced Floor Layer looking for a stable role with opportunities to progress? At Liberty, we're looking for a skilled Floor Layer Multi to join our team, delivering high-quality flooring and maintenance work across occupied social housing properties.
What you'll be doing:
- Installing vinyl, wet room and specialist flooring
- Preparing sub-floors, including latex screeding
- Prepare subfloors and carry out sit form work
- Install vinyl, LVT and safety flooring
- Fit and install sit-on skirting
- Fit flooring to set-in skirting neatly
- Measure, cut and fit flooring accurately
- Use levelling compounds and floor preparation materials
- Uplift and disposal of existing flooring materials and waste
- Carrying out floor repairs and finishing works to a high standard
- Removing and refitting toilets and basins as part of wet room installations
- Undertaking basic plumbing and multi-trade tasks where required
- Complete work to a high professional standard
- Delivering excellent customer service while working in occupied homes
What we're looking for:
- Experienced Floor Layer with strong vinyl flooring skills
- Experience with site form preparation
- Experience fitting set in skirting and sit-on skirting
- Good attention to detail and finishing
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent recognised qualification) Desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own tools needed
- Social housing experience desirable
- Ability to work independently and within a team
