Are you looking to kick start your career as an Electrician? Are you based in or near the Wirral? We are looking for an Electrician apprentice to work on a 24 month fixed term basis, working 40 hours per week. The salary is based upon the National Minimum Age for apprentices.

Your Role:

  • Attend training and work toward your craft qualification
  • Trace, diagnose and rectify faults
  • Carry out routine safety checks
  • Carry out programmed maintenance and servicing
  • Repair/ replace electrical fittings
  • Communicate with clients to arrange and carry out work
  • Leave homes clean and safe, collecting tenant signatures after jobs
  • Support colleagues and build relationships across the business
  • Safely operate tools, machinery, and vehicles
  • Keep accurate records of work and materials used
  • Follow safety procedures, including reporting hazards
  • Complete paperwork accurately and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Attend College as required and ensure College work is completed and submitted on time
  • Work flexibly, including out-of-hours if needed, and follow all health and safety guidelines

What We Need from You:

  • Have a genuine interest in working in Electrical
  • 16- 18-year-old Level 4 in English & Maths (C Grade or above or functional skills level 2)
  • 19+ Level 4 in English & Maths (C Grade or above or functional skills level 2)
  • Have a positive approach to completing relevant courses and qualifications
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules
  • Excellent customer service skills and punctuality
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational and planning skills
