Are you an experienced IT support professional wanting to make a real impact within a thriving organisation? Join an established company based in the picturesque New Forest, Hampshire, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and supporting crucial IT systems that enhance visitor experiences and operational efficiency. This is a full-time permanent position offering up to £35,000 and opportunities for professional growth.

What will you do?

  • Provide daily technical support across the organisation's IT infrastructure, assisting users with hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage and maintain network systems, including switching, Active Directory, server configuration, and managed printing.
  • Support core systems such as EPOS, CCTV, and IP Telephony to ensure seamless operation.
  • Assist in the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of IT hardware and software, including workstations and other equipment.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues, escalating problems to third-party contractors when necessary.
  • Conduct IT equipment audits and support the implementation of new systems and projects.
  • Provide support during events, including cabling and system setup, as well as weekend support for staff and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, PCI DSS, and other relevant data security standards.
  • Support project work related to infrastructure upgrades and new technology deployments.

The ideal candidate:

  • Relevant experience in providing IT support in a business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, business IT networks, Active Directory, and server setup.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
  • Industry certifications like CompTIA or Microsoft (desirable).
  • Experience with EPOS, CCTV, or IP telephony systems (preferred but not essential).
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive attitude to learning and development.
  • Ability to adapt easily to bespoke software applications and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
