At Believ, formerly known as Liberty Charge, we’re committed to sustainable transport being accessible to everyone. We’re a Charge Point Operator (CPO) on a mission to create the UK’s most reliable electric vehicle charging network that doesn’t cost the earth and leaves no one behind. Providing equitable access to electric vehicle charging, and achieving cleaner air for all, is at the heart of the Believ mission.

We work closely with local authorities and businesses to deliver reliable, high quality charging networks at pace, at scale and at zero cost. You’ll be joining this exciting journey at the start of our scale-up phase, and working with us to hit the ambitious targets our shareholders have set. You’ll become part of a passionate and supportive team in a fast-paced, dynamic and result-driven environment.

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to own and drive Believ's digital presence across B2B, B2C, and B2G audiences. This is a hands-on, high-impact role sitting at the heart of our marketing team. You'll be the person who connects our brand story to measurable outcomes, across every digital touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and optimise paid and organic digital campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
  • Own campaign reporting, turning data into clear insight and sharper briefs, not just dashboards.
  • Manage digital ad spend efficiently, with a strong eye on CPL, CAC, and channel ROI.
  • Drive SEO strategy and execution from technical audits to content gap analysis to on-page optimisation.
  • Collaborate with content and design to produce digital assets that actually convert, not just look good.
  • Manage website content, including the creation of landing pages and the review of copy, images, and other multimedia elements.
  • Own the digital side of CRM building automated journeys, segmenting audiences, and improving lifecycle engagement.
  • Work alongside our CRM platform to ensure digital campaigns and CRM are genuinely joined up.
  • Take ownership of website performance including driving UX improvements, landing page testing, conversion rate optimisation.
  • Set up and maintain clean tracking (GA4, GTM) and translate analytics into action.
  • Be the team's go-to for data integrity and attribution.
  • Work across commercial, product, and ops teams to ensure digital activity supports business priorities.
  • Brief and manage our agency partners and freelancers, keeping quality high and timelines tight.
  • Line manage and develop our Social Media Specialist, providing clear direction, regular 1:1s, and meaningful feedback that helps them grow.
  • Set the social content strategy and be accountable for its quality.
  • Act as a collaborative, grounded manager who leads by example rather than hierarchy.

About you:

At Believ, we are building a culture that attracts and retains the best talent. The successful candidate will have the following attributes and skills:

  • 5 years in digital marketing, with a proven track record across both B2B/B2G and B2C channels.
  • Hands-on experience with paid media including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, SEO, and email marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable in GA4 and able to challenge data that doesn't add up.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage budgets and report on commercial impact, not vanity metrics.
  • Previous line management experience, with the ability to set clear direction and develop direct reports.
  • Excellent written communication, understanding how tone shifts between a B2B LinkedIn post and a consumer email.
  • Experience working in a scale-up or fast-growth environment.
  • Proactive, solutions-first, and not afraid to say when something isn't working.
  • CRM platform experience (HubSpot, or similar).

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and bonus scheme.
  • 25 days’ annual leave, plus the usual 8 UK Bank Holidays and the option to purchase up to 5 additional days per year.
  • Access to wellbeing and mental health benefits such as the Calm app, personal medical insurance, critical illness cover, dental, optical & travel insurance, income protection and life assurance.
  • Pension contribution matched up to 10%.
  • Access to our car benefit scheme and cycle to work scheme.
  • Access to our online learning platform to continue to develop and grow your career with us.
  • 16 hours a year Volunteer Time Off to support causes that are important to you.
  • Virgin Media / O2 discounts and offers.
  • Access to VIP Arena Suites at the O2 Arena (London) and First Direct Arena (Leeds).
  • Enhanced parental leave policies.
