Following a series of successful hires, LBP is pleased to be supporting the continued expansion of a highly regarded investment bank with a strong focus across the FIG sector. With significant deal momentum across the platform, the team is now looking to add Associates to support on transaction execution.
If you are currently part of a high-performing FIG team with 3+ years of experience at a Bulge Bracket, Elite Boutique, Mid-Market Investment Bank, or a Big 4 firm, we want to hear from you.
Job Responsibilities- Cover key sectors within the Financial Institutions Group (FIG), including banking, asset/wealth management, insurance, specialty finance, fintech, etc.
- Perform in-depth valuation analysis, financial modelling, and market research to support M&A and capital markets transactions.
- Develop and deliver presentation materials, including management presentations, board reports, and memorandums, for client engagements.
- Play a key role in deal execution, including due diligence, document preparation, negotiation, and liaising with external advisors (legal, accounting, regulatory bodies).
- Stay informed on market trends and regulatory developments, offering strategic insights to clients.
- Mentor and train junior colleagues, contributing to a high-performance team culture.
- 3+ years FIG investment banking experience from a Bulge Bracket, Elite Boutique, Mid-Market Investment Bank, or Big 4.
- Proven expertise in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and transaction execution.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of investment banking products and deal structuring.
- Ability to manage client relationships and coordinate with external advisors.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
- Languages: Being able to speak a European language is a huge advantage.
