Our client, a bulge bracket investment bank is seeking driven and detail-oriented Investment Banking (M&A) Associates to join their Uber successful Tech M&A team. This role provides the opportunity to work on landmark deals in the Technology space across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deal Execution: Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including valuation analysis, due diligence, and preparation of transaction materials.
• Financial Modelling: Build and maintain detailed financial models to support valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis for potential transactions.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive industry and company research to identify market trends and strategic opportunities in the Tech sector.
• Presentation Development: Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and pitch materials for client meetings and new business development.
• Client Interaction: Support senior bankers in maintaining and developing client relationships by delivering timely insights and exceptional service.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Strong academic performance is essential.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field. Prior experience in Technology, Software, TMT sectors is essential. Experience from a bulge bracket, tier 1 or elite boutique would be advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with valuation techniques, including DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
