We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Bradford on a 12-month Fixed term contract. This is a hybrid role, with two days in the office and three days working remotely each week. Working closely with operational and technology specialists, as well as our customers, the Senior Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of digital transformation initiatives and B2B products. From discovery through to deployment and ongoing CI/CD, this role is key to delivering our strategic ambitions as we scale our customer base and enhance operations through edge technologies, automation and AI.

As a software delivery expert, you will drive quality, performance and value across internal and external delivery teams. You will confidently manage stakeholders at all levels, mitigate risks, control costs, and provide clear, well-informed recommendations to resolve complex challenges and ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end transitions of operational services between providers, ensuring continuity, risk control, regulatory compliance, and a smooth handover to steady-state operations.
  • Own delivery of the release backlog, applying Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Partner with customers and cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering, security, and suppliers) to design and deliver impactful digital solutions aligned to business and user needs.
  • Collaborate across teams and leadership to remove blockers, manage risks, and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain robust delivery documentation, including scope, user stories, sprint and delivery plans, and key project logs.
  • Drive clear communication and alignment across delivery teams, ensuring actions are tracked and completed successfully.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with third-party partners to support successful delivery outcomes.
  • Support and mentor team members, contributing to their development and alignment with team objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance delivery performance, staying aligned to Agile best practice and emerging technologies.

Essential

  • Strong track record delivering end-to-end software projects using Agile, to time, cost and scope.
  • Experience managing operational service transitions within multi-supplier environments.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams across the full delivery lifecycle.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, with experience influencing senior leaders.
  • Highly organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to risk and delivery.
  • High attention to detail and quality across deliverables.
  • Proficient in key delivery tools (e.g. Microsoft 365, Jira, Microsoft Project, Monday.com).
  • Collaborative approach, with the ability to build strong cross-team relationships.
  • Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Confident using data to support reporting and decision-making.

Desirable

  • Project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile certifications).
  • Experience delivering both custom and low/no-code SaaS solutions.
  • Exposure to AI or emerging technologies.
  • Background in finance, insurance or back-office operations.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement and optimising delivery in line with Agile best practice.
  • Understanding of user-centred design, with exposure to tools such as Miro, Figma or Visio.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting team development and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

  • Competitive salary.
  • 25 days annual leave with the option to purchase 5 more.
  • Enjoy your birthday off, plus receive an additional 3 days of annual leave once you reach 5 years of service.
