We’re looking for a Director of Implementation to join our team in Bradford on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role, with two days in the office and three days working remotely each week. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a seasoned Enterprise Systems leader with a proven track record of driving large-scale ERP transformation programmes within consulting, professional services, systems integration, or technology-led organisations.

As Director of Enterprise Systems, you will lead the strategy, governance, delivery, and continuous optimisation of our ERP and EPM landscape, ensuring our platforms enable business growth, operational excellence, and informed decision‑making. Combining strategic vision with hands‑on leadership, you will oversee complex transformation initiatives while shaping the future Enterprise Systems roadmap.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience of Oracle Fusion ERP and/or Oracle Fusion HCM, although strong experience with Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) will also be considered. Exposure to commercial growth initiatives, go‑to‑market strategy, client‑facing transformation programmes, or business development activities would be highly advantageous.

What will you be doing?

  • Defining and delivering the Enterprise Systems strategy and roadmap, aligned to business objectives and future growth plans.
  • Leading large‑scale ERP and EPM transformation programmes, including upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and new platform capabilities.
  • Overseeing the end‑to‑end delivery of complex projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Establishing strong governance frameworks, including programme management, risk mitigation, compliance, and change control.
  • Driving process optimisation and automation opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and user experience across the organisation.
  • Ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement of business‑critical enterprise platforms.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities, shape technology solutions, and drive organisational change.
  • Providing regular performance reporting, insights, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership teams.
  • Managing technology investment, budgets, and resource planning to maximise value and business outcomes.
  • Leading relationships with third‑party vendors and implementation partners, overseeing contracts, licensing, service levels, and commercial performance.
  • Ensuring enterprise systems support robust financial management, forecasting, planning, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
  • Building and leading high‑performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Essential

  • Proven experience leading Enterprise Systems functions and driving technology strategy, transformation, and business change within complex organisations.
  • Degree‑qualified in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Significant experience delivering and overseeing large‑scale ERP, EPM, or enterprise technology programmes.
  • Strong experience with Oracle Fusion ERP and/or Oracle Fusion HCM.
  • Broad knowledge of enterprise platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Workday, NetSuite, Anaplan, Hyperion, or OneStream.
  • A successful track record of leading complex system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end business processes across Finance, HR, Operations, Supply Chain, and Planning functions.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, programme delivery, and change management skills.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to align technology investment to strategic business objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with senior stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Product, Technology, Engineering, and Operations teams.

Desirable

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, Prosci, ITIL, or relevant vendor‑specific qualifications.
  • Experience operating within global, multi‑entity, or regulated business environments.
  • A background in enterprise systems consulting, systems integration, or technology transformation programmes, either in‑house or within a consultancy setting.
  • Exposure to commercial strategy, business growth initiatives, client‑facing transformation programmes, or go‑to‑market activities.

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive salary + Bonus
  • 25 days annual leave with the option to purchase 5 more.
  • Enjoy your birthday off, plus receive an additional 3 days of annual leave once you reach 5 years of service.
  • Access to wellbeing and mental health benefits such as the Calm app, personal medical, critical illness cover and dental insurance, plus many more.
