We’re looking for a Director, LG Capital- Structured Finance and Securitization at Liberty Blume in London, United Kingdom. LBSF offers a varied product range; from core products including Supply Chain Finance and Securitisation to products in development/close to release including but not limited to inventory finance, portfolio receivables financing, prepayment / trade advance, leasing, asset as a service. LBSF generally targets sub-investment grade rated companies (although its solutions are also applicable to investment grade organisations) to provide the aforementioned solutions. Today its client base is mostly focused around telecoms; however, LBSF is making inroads with adjacent industries.

LBSF has grown significantly over the past year, and we are looking for a Director focused on contributing towards further growth through its receivables products including securitisation, factoring, and other receivables based deals. This is a project-based role, encompassing origination, structuring, execution, and strategy. Prior experience with receivables financing, securitisation and working capital would be key to success in the role.

  • Lead the Receivables team based in the UK.
  • Originate, structure and execute end-to-end receivables-based solutions including among other products: securitisations, portfolio receivables monetisation, contract monetisations and other receivable finance programmes.
  • Originate – along with the Origination team identify opportunities, both internally and externally where we may be able to provide such services and lead sale process of such receivables products.
  • Provide technical product expertise to pitch opportunities to clients to result in mandates.
  • Structure – along with key funding partners create and structure solutions tailored towards client requirements, providing meaningful insight into opportunities that LBSF has for both clients and its funders.
  • Execute - project manage the execution of deals across operational, documentation and financing workstreams.
  • Act as key point of contact for external counterparties during process including clients, banks, asset managers, law firms, service providers, representing LBSF with aim to drive forward growth agenda.
  • Retain LBSF accountability for a defined portfolio of existing clients, managing reviews, growing revenues and acting as an escalation point for complex client issues and negotiations.
  • Represent LBSF at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and deal flow for receivables based products.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Degree Level or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant years of proven experience in Structured Finance, securitisation, capital markets, or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated origination track record, with a clear ability to source, structure, and execute receivables based transactions.
  • Strong experience across a range of asset classes (trade receivables, long-term contract receivables, consumer assets) and understanding of receivables as collateral, credit insurance and typical market structures.
  • Strong commercial mindset with evidence of an entrepreneurial approach; prior entrepreneurial experience is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, large-scale transactions and develop bespoke financing structures/facilities.
  • Experience managing teams, with a track record of leadership, coaching, and talent development.
  • Deep understanding of working capital solutions and market dynamics, including investor and lender landscape.

  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and multiple internal/external stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience operating in international environments.
  • Ability to balance commercial objectives with risk management and structuring discipline.
  • Excellent knowledge and skill working with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel. Additional data analytics/coding languages are desirable.
