We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join us in Bradford and Leeds. This role will be within Liberty Blume Operations which consists of three key pillars - Business Solutions, Procurement and Financial Solutions. The Finance Business Partner will support the Liberty Blume Operations pillar and leadership team, and is responsible for ensuring financial discipline and transparency, ensuring assessments on Capital Allocation are rigorously applied and helping shape and execute the Liberty Blume growth strategy.

What will you be doing?

  • Influence strategy from a financial perspective
  • Provide finance business partnership to the Liberty Blume Leadership team and support in realising their (financial) objectives
  • Challenge the business to improve the efficiency of the function and optimise cost base
  • Support in ensuring services are correctly priced, maximising profitability, and charged to customers (Revenue Assurance)
  • Ensure the production of monthly financial information to enable the leadership team to monitor the performance of the business
  • Act as financial interface between business stakeholders and other parts of the finance community
  • Enable an efficient process and tooling to facilitate financial reviews for monthly actual and forecast as well as budget cycle
  • Work with business on specific business cases to ensure optimal allocation of capital and maximise returns for Liberty Blume
  • Responsible for forecast accuracy and overview of risks and opportunities
  • Challenge performance and initiate improvement / close the gap initiatives
  • Provide support to the Liberty Blume Finance Director in realising their (financial) objectives including customer profitability
  • Support the wider Finance Business Partnering team where appropriate, to ensure an efficient team dynamic

General and Leadership

  • Responsible for the financial translation of business issues and developments
  • Participate in substantial operational and financial review meetings with management
  • Internally focus activity and resources to improve service to the finance community
  • Create and foster a proactive approach to smarter, cost effective support and implementation models that challenge status quo
