We’re looking for a x2 Real Estate Solicitor to join our Blume Business Solutions team in Bradford (BD4) on a permanent basis – Hybrid working minimum 2 days office based.

In this role, you will run your own portfolio of real estate matters, with the potential to take on team leadership responsibilities. You’ll be supported by a Senior Manager and a collaborative Legal Operations team, and benefit from access to innovative legal technology that streamlines your daily work and supports your professional development.

There is also an opportunity to lead a team of solicitors and paralegals, providing legal advice on a broad range of real estate issues. These include landlord and tenant matters, wayleave agreements, trespass issues, and diversions—particularly those involving the Electronic Communications Code.

What will you be doing?

  • Running a variety of real estate matters, including lease renewals, licences to alter, assignments, wayleave agreements, and other ad hoc property issues and strategic projects, particularly those involving the Electronic Communications Code.
  • Carrying out due diligence and preparing detailed reports in accordance with the Real Estate Manual.
  • Contributing to the development and refinement of legal processes and standard documentation.
  • Offering insights and recommendations to improve client processes and operational efficiency.
  • Participating in meetings with key stakeholders and external parties to support project delivery and relationship management.
  • Collaborating with the Senior Manager to assess and report on team performance, including mentoring and motivating team members to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), and leading on KPI and management information (MI) reporting across workstreams.
  • Supporting team development through feedback, training, and supervision.
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends, legal developments, and best practices to ensure high-quality service delivery.

  • Qualified Solicitor, applications from CILEX-qualified professionals are also welcome.
  • Proficient in drafting, negotiating, and reviewinga wide range of legal documents and agreements with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Keeps current with legal and industry developments, ensuring advice and practices remain aligned with the latest standards and best practices.
  • Demonstrates strong client relationship skills, delivering exceptional service and clear, effective communication to build trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Real estate litigation experience is a plus, though not essential—ideal for those looking to broaden their expertise into more transactional work.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring and supporting junior colleagues, including providing constructive feedback, training, and supervision.
  • Proven ability to engage with key stakeholders, clients, and third parties, including participation in business development activities such as client presentations, marketing initiatives, and networking events.
