Responsibilities:
- Help develop and implement wholesale strategies.
- Drive sales growth and identify new commercial opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, proactive relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Coordinate and assist seasonal sales appointments and manage order cycles.
- Oversee day-to-day account management and respond to client needs.
- Plan and execute wholesale marketing initiatives within an allocated budget.
- Utilise brand-specific sales tools and segmentation data to inform decision-making.
- Conduct competitor analysis.
- Set up and disassemble seasonal collections in the showroom.
- Maintain merchandising standards in the showroom.
- Prepare seasonal sales materials and send out line sheets and marketing materials.
- Chase orders and manage samples during the selling season.
- Organise and pack samples for Paris or other appointments, including preparing all carnet information.
- Set up new customers and ensure all manuals have been provided to relevant teams.
- Highlight special delivery terms and ensure logistics are aware.
- Act as the key contact for customers for any queries on orders regarding returns, cancellations, swaps, and late orders.
- Complete required data templates for each customer, whether on Customers Intranet or Excel information uploads.
- Send flat shots and model images to clients.
- Arrange credit notes for any returns.
- Follow up and monitor returns back to the warehouse.
- Deal with customer complaints and liaise with production for answers and advice.
- Request sales reports from current retailers to understand their buys and what styles work best for each retailer.
- Monitor customer e-commerce to ensure compliance with guidelines.
- Monitor sales and markdowns.
- Monitor salesman samples and chase returns of samples if lent to customers.
- Process and check invoicing data analysis and weekly reporting to monitor best sellers, worst sellers, and sales patterns in each territory.
- Stay informed of finance and logistics status quo to support the business.
- Deliver brand training and ensure visual merchandising consistency in key wholesale accounts.
- Help create bespoke sales training documents.
- Support the marketing team with all relevant information and details from the buy to develop a clear wholesale strategy.
- Help manage and implement any special customer pop-ups of SIS concepts.
- Discuss and inform of needs and local trends affecting product performance.
- Update database regularly to ensure an accurate contact list is maintained.
- Review and manage orders with distributors and agents.
- Update agents and distributors with relevant seasonal information.
- Help set up and monitor agents and distributors' orders and invoicing.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Wholesale experience, ideally within luxury retail.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Graphic skills are useful.
- Ability to use NuOrder Apparel ERP software.
