We are an Outstanding CQC-rated care provider, delivering specialist care to individuals with long-term and complex conditions – and we're looking for a compassionate Female Care Assistant to join our team.

Role Details

  • Location: St Leonards-on-Sea
  • Pay: £16.07 – £17.14 per hour (depending on experience & training)
  • Hours: Approx. 30 hours per week
  • Shifts: 7:00am – 5:00pm, 5:00pm – 11:00pm or full-day shifts (flexible based on service needs)
  • Double-up care package (you'll always work alongside another carer).
  • Driving licence preferred (may involve driving the client's vehicle), however non-drivers may be considered.

About the Role

You'll support a client living at home with complex health needs, helping them live a safe, independent, and fulfilling life. This is a person-centred role where you'll also support enjoyable activities such as:

  • Swimming
  • Bowling
  • Watching TV

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and mobility support
  • Assisting with clinical and health-related tasks
  • Supporting independence and emotional wellbeing
  • Helping the client access the community and activities

What We're Looking For

  • Essential: Previous care experience
  • Desirable: Complex care experience (full training provided)
  • A caring, reliable and proactive approach
  • Willingness to learn new clinical skills

Full Clinical Training Provided

You'll be fully trained and supported with:

  • Paid training & shadow shifts
  • Suprapubic catheter care
  • PEG feeding
  • Medication via gastrostomy
  • Dystonia management
