We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in West Ealing London, supporting one of our clients with a range of complex health needs.
The kind of nurse I am looking for:
- Will medically keep me safe but keep me developing cognitively as I know so much!
- Be someone who loves to suction and keep my airway clear. They should be very in tune when I need a suction. It is important they do not panic, sometimes my airway gets blocked and I can lose colour and go grey/blue – all I need is a position change, cough assist or suction – deep one! and sometimes in the nose to keep me nice and clear.
- A nurse who can peg feed. I have a mix of blended and a milk feed.
- A nurse who gives me lots of love and cuddles, talks to me, reads to me, enjoys music.
- A nurse who is aware and in tune with what I need when I need it.
- A nurse who will realise if I need my own space just to be quiet she will recognise this – equally if I need some educational fun she will be creative to come up with a new way for me to learn things. My vocabulary knowledge is strong even though my mobility is very limited.

- Promoting comfort, calm, and positive interaction
What You’ll Need:

How to prepare for a job interview at Libertatemhealthcare
✨Know Your Patient's Needs
Before the interview, take some time to understand the specific needs of the client you'll be supporting. Familiarise yourself with complex health conditions and care techniques like suctioning and enteral feeding. This will show your potential employer that you’re not just qualified, but genuinely invested in providing personalised care.
✨Showcase Your Emotional Intelligence
During the interview, highlight your ability to connect with patients on an emotional level. Share examples of how you've recognised when a patient needs space or when they require more interaction. This is crucial for a role that demands both technical skills and a compassionate approach.
✨Prepare for Scenario Questions
Expect questions that put you in real-life scenarios, such as handling a blocked airway or managing a patient’s anxiety. Practise your responses to these situations, focusing on your calmness and reliability. Demonstrating your problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations can set you apart from other candidates.
✨Ask Insightful Questions
At the end of the interview, don’t forget to ask questions that reflect your interest in the role and the company. Inquire about their approach to patient care or how they support their staff’s professional development. This shows that you’re not only interested in the job but also in being part of a team that values quality care.
