We are looking for a live-in support worker to make a real difference in the life of a vibrant young adult with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and learning disabilities. You’ll help your client enjoy a fulfilling, independent life filled with laughter, fun, and memorable experiences.
About Your Client
- He is energetic, sociable, and enjoys watching YouTube and gaming.
- Visiting theme parks.
- Car journeys and day trips.
- Shopping, especially for cheese.
There is also a friendly cat in the property, so you must be comfortable with pets.
Responsibilities
- Support with personal care and daily routines.
- Encourage social interaction and community activities.
- Join in with trips, hobbies, and outings.
- Promote independence, confidence, and wellbeing.
- Provide a consistent, positive presence throughout the week.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting people with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, PEG feeding, and learning disabilities (e.g., global developmental delay).
- A full UK driving licence – essential for trips and activities.
- A positive, caring, and proactive attitude.
- Availability for a 1 week on / 1 week off schedule (Monday–Friday only, finish 19:30 Friday).
