Are you an experienced Complex Care Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant, or Support Worker looking for a meaningful role where you can genuinely change someone's life?
Libertatem is seeking compassionate and dedicated professionals to support a gentleman in his 40s living with the effects of a brain injury. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide one-to-one care, promote independence, and build a positive, trusting relationship with both the client and his family.
If you have experience in brain injury support, PEG feeding, challenging behaviour, mobility assistance, or complex care, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Client
You'll be supporting a gentleman who lives with his family in an adapted home in Oxford. Following a brain injury, he requires specialist support with:
- Mobility and moving & handling
- Loss of vision on his right side
- PEG feeding
- Emotional wellbeing and daily living
- Behavioural support
He enjoys spending time with his family and is a keen football fan. Your role will be to help him remain safe, comfortable, and engaged while supporting his independence and quality of life.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as you'll be required to drive the client's vehicle.
Full training will be provided.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Complex Care Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting with personal care and daily living activities
- Assisting with mobility and safe use of hoists
- Administering medication and monitoring wellbeing
- Supporting PEG feeding requirements
- Providing emotional reassurance and companionship
- Working closely with family members and healthcare professionals
- Managing and responding appropriately to behaviours that challenge
What We're Looking For

- Experience in complex care, brain injury support, or specialist community care
- Confidence supporting individuals with challenging behaviours
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate, patient, and person-centred approach
- The ability to work independently and use initiative
- Reliability, flexibility, and a genuine passion for helping others
- A full UK driving licence
