We are seeking an experienced Female Care Assistant to provide 1:1 overnight care for a young child with complex clinical needs in their family home. Complex Care Training Provided for the right person.
This role is ideal for a carer who already has experience in healthcare or complex care and is looking to build on their skills, work consistent night shifts, and be part of a highly supportive specialist care team.
You will receive ongoing clinical training, competency refreshers, and continuous support — you’ll never be expected to work beyond your training or without backup.
Clinical Needs You’ll Support (With Ongoing Training)- Respiratory support including nightly BiPAP
- Epilepsy and seizure management
- PEG feeding and nutrition
- Medication administration (including nebulisers)
- Oxygen therapy (PRN)
- Airway and respiratory management
You must have previous care experience. Ongoing training, upskilling, and clinical supervision will be provided to support you in this role.
Your Responsibilities- Delivering high-quality, person-centred 1:1 overnight care
- Monitoring respiratory status and responding appropriately
- Safe medication administration
- Managing seizures and providing reassurance
- Supporting comfort, positioning, and personal care
- Maintaining accurate records and night-time observations
- Creating a calm, safe, and attentive environment
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant, HCA, or Support Worker
- Happy to be trained in complex needs
- A calm, compassionate, and professional approach
- Strong communication skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and high-quality care
A full UK driving licence is preferred.
