We are recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Live-In Female Carer to support a client with complex care needs in their own home. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for someone who is confident, patient, and passionate about delivering exceptional person-centred care. Please note: no meat is to be cooked in the home, as the client follows a vegetarian lifestyle.

About the Client & Their Needs

We are seeking a confident and experienced Live-In Carer with strong complex-care experience. Previous experience supporting someone with FOP is desirable; however, full training will be provided. The client also has a tracheostomy, managed weekly by a community nurse (including tracheostomy tape changes). You must be able to safely and confidently support with:

  • Tracheostomy care and cleaning
  • Moving and handling support
  • Supporting with behavioural difficulties when required

Due to the nature of the personal care involved, this role requires a female carer.

Female applicant (genuine occupational requirement)

  • Previous care or support experience (live-in complex care desirable)
  • Experience with tracheostomy care
  • Comfortable supporting behavioural challenges
