Libertatem Healthcare Group is recruiting for a compassionate and reliable Female Children’s Support Worker to support a young child with complex care needs in their family home in Redruth. This is a rewarding opportunity for experienced support workers, healthcare assistants, care assistants, or individuals with a passion for children’s complex care and clinical support work.
Pay Rates
- Twilight Shift (Monday or Thursday 17:00 – 21:00): £14.18 per hour
- Waking Nights Monday – Saturday (22:30 – 07:30): £14.70 per hour
- Sunday Waking Nights: £15.23 per hour
Shift Pattern
- 2 waking nights per week plus 1 twilight shift / 3 waking nights per week (rolling rota)
- Weekend working included on a rota basis
- Minimum of 1 twilight shift per week
About the Role
As a Waking Night Children’s Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and clinical support to a young child with complex health needs within their home environment. Your duties will include:
- Providing personal care and emotional support
- Supporting with PEG feeding
- Medication administration
- Airway management support
- Monitoring and managing seizures and dystonia
- Supporting social interaction and daily routines
- Working closely with family members and healthcare professionals
Full clinical training and ongoing support will be provided.

- A caring, calm, and positive approach

- Willingness to complete specialist clinical training
