We are seeking a Female Paediatric Complex Care Assistant in Portland, Dorset. The role offers £17.00 per hour with shifts from 08:00 – 20:00, covering sickness and annual leave. Typically, the shifts are Monday to Wednesday but can be flexible. A driver is required due to the location.

Our client enjoys sensory toys with lights and sounds and watching Bluey on the iPad. We’re seeking someone who can bring warmth, positivity, and companionship into his daily routine. Every individual has unique needs, and your care will reflect that.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and attending appointments
  • Providing full-day support, offering both emotional and physical assistance
  • Connecting with people in a professional, empathetic, and person-centred way
  • Administering basic life support for paediatrics
  • Oxygen Therapy
  • Enteral Feeding
  • Handling situations involving unwell children, including potential resuscitation if necessary
