Week One - Friday sleep shift, Saturday & Sunday day shifts. Week Two - Monday, Tuesday and Saturday sleep shifts. Subject to change.

Role Overview: We are offering an opportunity for experienced and dedicated Spinal Injury Support Workers to join our new client in Cardiff, working on a 2:1 ratio during sleeping night shifts. To support their independence and lifestyle, we’re seeking support workers who are confident, empathetic, and capable of building a strong, trusting relationship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Respiratory Management (cough assist/suctioning)
  • Autonomic Dysreflexia Management
  • Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition
  • Administering medication (training provided)
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Supporting with mobility and physical activities
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience within a similar role, supporting clients with Spinal Injury, catheter care and bowel management
  • A caring and compassionate nature
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A valid UK driving licence essential to drive the WAV during shifts (25 year olds + due to insurance)
