We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Complex Care Assistants to support our young client in Bromley with complex needs.
About The Client
Our young client enjoys cuddles and benefits from physical reassurance. He loves books, music, nursery rhymes, and watching his favourite TV programmes. Sensory play is an important part of his day, particularly activities involving lights, sounds, bubbles, textures, and light‑up toys. The family have a dog, so applicants must be comfortable with pets.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred, tailored care
- Support with personal care, mobility and daily routines
- Administer medication and monitor health
- Accompany the client in the community
- Provide emotional support and reassurance
- Maintain accurate care records
- Work closely with healthcare professionals and family
Requirements
- Experience supporting paediatric clients is essential
- Experience with complex needs, enteral feeding, seizure management rescue medication, oral and nasopharyngeal suctioning, medication administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Energetic, empathetic, and reliable
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Awareness of accessibility – knowledge of wheelchair‑friendly routes, transport, and venues
- Full UK driving licence
