The predicted salary is between 15 - 17 £ per hour.

Pay: £15.60-£17.16 per hour

Job Type: Zero-hour contract

Shifts: 8am-8pm day shifts 7 days per week. 8pm-8am sleeping night shifts 7 nights per week. Full time/part time hours available, 12 hour/24 hour shifts.

Role Overview

We are offering an opportunity for female carers/support workers to join our new client in Ashford as a Personal Assistant. Our client is in her late 60's with a brain injury following a road traffic accident. She is a wheelchair user and has cognitive impairments which require support for day to day activities and routines. Due to the location and responsibilities of the role, it is essential you have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Support/prompting with medication
  • Taking our client out in the community and to appointments
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Supporting with moving and handling, mobility and physical activities

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience within a similar role, ideally supporting clients with complex needs
  • Experience and/or knowledge of brain injuries
  • A valid UK driving licence essential due to location and nature of the role
  • A caring and compassionate nature
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
