Pay: Weekday nights £16.02, Saturday & Sunday £16.78
Shifts: 10pm-8am waking night shifts, 7 nights per week.
We’re looking for compassionate and skilled Paediatric Care Assistants to join our new client in Halifax, supporting with a range of complex health needs. Our client is a 5‑month old baby boy who will be discharged from the hospital with a community team to support his parents during the night on waking night shifts. There may be additional day shifts available in the near‑future. He is trache‑vented 24/7 and tube fed and may occasionally require oxygen. He enjoys age‑appropriate play and we are keen to recruit support workers with a strong paediatric background. Experience with young babies/neonatal or tracheostomy and PEG with young children would be highly advantageous.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing personal care
- Supporting with clinical tasks including tracheostomy ventilations, PEG feeding and oxygen when required.
- Promoting comfort, calm, and positive interaction
