We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a support worker to work alongside our client in Norwich, Norfolk. Our client is a young man in his 20s, the youngest of three brothers, who lives in a loving, supportive, chatty, and lively household in the charming village of Rockland St. Mary, just a short drive from central Norwich. He has a wide spectrum of interests, from Peppa Pig to world politics, and loves baking, quiz shows, getting out and about in the local area, and football (he is a huge Chelsea fan). His care team describe him as a joy to work with and say he has nothing but kind words to share.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (between 07:30 - 19:30, seven-day week rota, published well in advance)
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily/nightly bowel, urinary, and personal care programme.
- Feeding regime.
- Physiotherapy programme.
- Transportation - a full UK driving licence and vehicle are essential.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a care environment, ideally with young adults/children.
- Complex care experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be given.
- Dependable, sociable, and thoughtful with positive energy, solid common sense, vigilance, and good communication skills.
